Health Day 2010 Wish List

Food:
- 1,200 packets of mayonnaise and 1,200 packets of mustard
- 1,500 individual bags of chips
- 1,500 brown lunch bags
- 2,000 disposable drinking cups
- 3,000 plastic zipper seal sandwich bags
- 600 lbs boneless turkey breast
- 750 bananas
- 750 oranges
- 50 heads iceberg lettuce
- 1,500 American cheese singles
- 150 loaves sandwich bread.
- 1,500 granola bars
- 1,500 breakfast bars
- 400 pounds of grapes
- 25 5-pound cans of lemonade
- 50 chest coolers
- 25 igloo 5-gallon coolers
Clothing Area:
- 1,500 duffle bags or backpacks
- 8 large tarps to cover all clothing or to help make use of ground space if needed
- 30 large plastic storage containers (the Rubbermaid-type with lids) to sort and store donations, transport them, and use them to keep the clothing organized and distributed during the event.
- 2,000 Shopping bags for our guests to "shop" with
- 2,000 Brand-new socks (men's and women's sizes)
- 2,000 Brand-new gloves
- 2,000 New sleeping bags and/or blankets
- 8 Sturdy clothing racks to hang coats and jackets on
- 5-6 dozen packs of sturdy clothing hangers for heavy coats and jackets (if the clothing racks are acquired)
- 1,500 Men’ s underwear all sizes
- 500 women’s underwear all sizes
- 500 children's underwear all sizes
- 500 bras all sizes
- Used clothing donations from corporate "clean out your closet" clothing drives. Men’s clothing is especially needed and large sizes for both genders.
Security:
- 50 Motorola Talkabout T7450 FRS (walkie talkie)
- 10 Grip Metal Detector Wands
- 20 Orange mesh Security vests
Set up/tear down:
(To borrow- we do not have the storage capacity yet)
- 45 rectangular tables
- 20 round large tables
- 700 folding chairs
- 12 generators
- 10 porta potties(with sinks)
- 60 X 180 large event tent (very important- has to be able to put up and take down on Sunday- September 19th. Because we close a city block- it has to be taken down by 9pm that evening)
- 12 10x10 tents
- 25 outdoor extension cords
Entertainment:
- 1 12x 18 ft portable Stage
- 30 checker games
- 30 chess games
- 10 Uno card decks
- 10 candy land board games
- 100 coloring books
- 100 packs of crayons
- 15 face painting kits
Resume/interview improvement section:
- 3 older computer laptops (new ones are not good for the street there is always the possibility that they can get stolen)

Medical:
- 50 bottles of hand sanitizer
- Antifungal cream (preferably small tubes)----at least 100 tubes
- Antibiotics: Amoxicillin 500mg (500 tablets)
- Bactrim (500 tablets)
- Cephalosporin/Keflex 500 mg (500 tablets)
- Doxycycline 100mg (500 tablets)
- Cipro 500mg (500 tablets)
- Antibiotic eyedrops (50 small bottles)
- B/P meds. : HCTZ 25 mg (1000 tablets), Lisinopril 20 mg (1000 tablets)
- Analgesic creams for muscle pain (50 small tubes)
- 200 each of Pepcid and Zantac, Tums and antacids
- Decongestants (specific number not given)
- Guafenisin 200mg (specific number not given)
- 200 Boxes of band aids (size 3 inch x 1 inch or size close to that)
- 200 Bags of cotton balls (don't need to be sterile)
- 100 Bottles of Ibuprofen 200mg tablets
- 100 Bottles of Tylenol 250 mg
- 50 bottles Antifungal foot powder (like Gold Bond) or a "no-name brand" if it's more cost efficient.
- 300 bottles Antihistamine eye drops
- Small tubes of low dose steroid creams (1% Cortisone cream) (If possible, 100 small tubes.)
- Poster board signs with facts/statistics about HIV, HTN, and Diabetes. (Will send info)
- 20 Professional Blood Pressure machines, (Large clinical standing type to rent, borrow?)
