Weekly Teams

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, teams of five to ten volunteers serve near the capitol area. This is a concentrated area for the homeless in the vicinity. For approximately an hour to an hour and a half, the volunteers hand out lemonade, other donations, and most important-smiles, conversation and hope.

This is the foundation of our ministry. No matter what we do or add — this part is extremely special. To hear and be heard is one of the core aspects of being human but for the man or woman on the street it is a luxury. To be talked at or ignored is their normal experience. If you would like to serve on a team let me know and I'll put you in touch with the leader.

Sunday Teams
The team meets at 4:30pm at Trinity (website | map).

Transportation to Church

We also have alot of clients that are really interested in going to Trinity and can use help in transportation. If that is something that interests you and you have it in your margins, just let me know.

Chili Tuesdays

In the fall and winter months. We help 24/7 Gateway(275 Pryor St, Atlanta, 30303 - parking is in the back off of Peachtree) by serving Chili every Tuesday is 7 pm. Their overflow room is a place for women and children that have no place to go. In the colder months especially, it can have from 100-200 extra staying there. Ideally, volunteers will pick 2 tuesdays a month to serve.
